At Bethleem Foundation, we believe that practical skills and professional education can help young people build pathways toward economic independence and a more hopeful future.Under the vision and leadership of our founders, Olnick Duverne and his wife, Rose-Mada Pierre-Louis Duverne, our Vocational Training & Professional School in Cabaret, Haiti, seeks to provide young men and women with access to practical training and professional skills that may otherwise be beyond their financial reach.Many young people in Haiti face significant economic and social challenges that can limit their opportunities for education and employment. Through vocational training, mentorship, and a supportive learning environment, Bethleem seeks to equip students with practical skills, confidence, and opportunities to pursue dignified work and support their families.Our goal is not only to teach a profession, but to help young people discover their potential, strengthen their communities, and build a more independent and hopeful future.Skills create opportunity. Our Current Active Program
Due to limited financial resources, our current vocational training focuses on practical artisan skills that can help participants develop products, explore entrepreneurship, and pursue opportunities for income generation.
Crochet & Macramé (Kwochè ak Makrame)
Supervised on the ground by Rose-Mada Pierre-Louis Duverne, this program provides young women and vulnerable youth with practical training in crochet and macramé. Participants learn to create handcrafted products, clothing, accessories, and home décor items while developing creativity, discipline, and basic entrepreneurial skills.Beyond learning a craft, the program provides a supportive and positive environment where participants can develop confidence, discover their abilities, and work toward greater economic independence.
Our goal is simple: teach practical skills, create opportunity, and help young people build a more sustainable future.

Our vision is to expand vocational training so that more young people can gain practical skills that lead to greater economic opportunity and independence. As resources become available, we hope to introduce additional trades and recruit qualified instructors in areas such as sewing and tailoring, carpentry, masonry, electrical work, plumbing, hairdressing, agriculture, and other market-relevant skills.
Expanding these opportunities will require trained instructors, equipment, tools, training materials, and sustainable financial support. Your partnership can help us move from a small artisan training initiative toward a broader
