The reopening of École Évangélique Bethleem on October 5, 2026, represents more than a new school year. It is a testimony of faith, perseverance, and the generosity of people who believe in the future of our children.
On May 2, 2026, a tragic motorcycle accident affected four of our teachers, several of whom required emergency hospitalization. The accident also destroyed the motorcycle we had relied on for years to help transport our teachers to school. Our teachers travel approximately 15 kilometers along difficult roads to serve their students. Transportation costs can even exceed their salaries, yet they continue making sacrifices because they believe every child deserves an education.
Thanks to the prayers and generosity of our supporters, Bethleem Foundation was able to purchase a replacement motorcycle. We are deeply grateful to every donor and prayer partner who helped us overcome this challenge. Your support is helping our teachers continue their important work. However, significant needs remain. One teacher still walks approximately an hour and a half each morning because the motorcycle cannot reach their home.
We must also continue raising funds to pay teachers, support school administration, and cover essential educational expenses. Help Us Keep Hope Alive Our school serves 108 children whose dreams deserve the opportunity to grow. Through our child sponsorship program, you can help sustain their education and support the teachers who guide them. Every donation, sponsorship, and prayer makes a difference. Thank you for standing with Bethleem Foundation. Despite the challenges, we remain committed to educating children, nurturing their dreams, and helping build a better future for Haiti.
The school is open. Hope lives on. The mission continues. Bethleem Foundation , Planting Knowledge, Nurturing Dreams, Building a Better Future.
